2019 NEET: 6 Changes that Indian Students Who Want to Study MBBS in China Must Know

Recently, the Ministry of Human Resource Development of India has announced some new rules about the NEET Exam. This is of great concern for students who wish to study MBBS in China. Let’s check it out!

2019 NEET New Rules
1. The conducting body of NEET Exam is changed into the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) before.
2. The exam will be held twice a year from 2019. The first exam will be held from 3rd February to 17th February 2019. The second exam will be held from 12th May to 25th May 2019. The result will be declared in the first week of March and June respectively.
3. You can choose the exam date and location according to your need. Plus, you can participate in one or both of the two exams in 2019, which can indirectly increase your passing rate.
4. The application will start in October 2018. The National Testing Agency will release the application form on 1st October for the first exam (Feb 2019) and the 2nd week of March 2019 for the second exam (May 2019).
5. The examination will only be conducted online in 2019, which means it will become a computer-based test.
6. Practice centers will be set up by the NTA for students in rural areas, so as to enable everyone to practice during the preparation period.
There are TWO MORE important information for you:

1. The attempt limit for NEET Exam has been removed from 2018. Previously, each student can take only 3 times of this exam.

2. Indian students who hope to study MBBS or BDS at Chinese medical universities have to pass the NEET exam first. Actually, this rule came into effect since 2018.

Advantages of Studying MBBS in China
In 2018, 13.26 lakh candidates competed for 90,000 seats in MBBS and BDS institutes across India, among which only 65,170 seats are for MBBS. The tuition fee ramps up to 600-750 thousand RMB for studying MBBS at private medical institutions in India.
With so limited number of seats, fierce competition, and sky-high tuition fees in India, there are still many advantages for you to pursue MBBS in China despite the compulsory NEET exam. There are five reasons for you to choose to study MBBS at Chinese medical universities:
1. There’s no guarantee that you’ll get admitted by Indian medical schools even you have to pass the exam. Because seats are allotted according to not only your scores but also your rank and the availability of seats in colleges.
2. The tuition fees for MBBS Programs in Chinese medical universities are 10 to 20 times cheaper than that of institutions in India!
3. There are plenty of MCI accredited MBBS programs in China. Every year, MCI will issue a list of certified Chinese medical universities, whose MBBS degree are accepted by MCI.
4. There are many approved English-taught MBBS programs in China, so it's no need for you to worry about the language barrier.
5. It is much easier for you to be enrolled by great medical universities in China. If you apply through CUCAS, you can successfully and easily obtain an offer of MBBS program with high quality of education.
