Q2. Why should I apply through CUCAS?

Q3. Why does the acceptance letter takes 2 months?

We are sorry for the inconvenience we might brought to these students. However, to be honest, it’s normal for applicants to receive the admission documents within 2 months.

Firstly, the university needs time to process application. Secondly, after students get admitted, the university needs to apply for JW202 form. It also will take time and won’t be able to finish within a short time. And CUCAS will deliver the admission documents to applicants without any delay once CUCAS receive it.

Room reservation is a free service provided by CUCAS and all CUCAS staff has been trying to do their best. Yet CUCAS needs to receive the response from universities. We obey the “no delay” rule all the time and make sure that applicants will be informed promptly when we get any response from the university.

CUCAS is committed to provide its users with convenient and easily application experience. However, there could be some inevitable accident during your application procedure. Q4. What is CUCAS Admission Service?

Our counselor will help students choose suitable programs and guide them to prepare their application documents. Next, our assessor team will review and help make corrections of those documents which will help the students get more chance to be accepted by the university. Then, our application-follow-up team will communicate with the university and track the application result. After the application admitted, CUCAS will send the admission offer and JW202 form to students by DHL. And we’ll also help students book dormitories, arrange pick-up service and guide registration.

Q5. How much is the application fee and service fee?

For self-financed programs, the application fee and service fee is $125 -300 (No extra fee). (The application fee is different from different universities.)

For non-degree Chinese language scholarship, the application fee and service fee is $200. For degree programs scholarship, the application fee and service fee is $500 (No extra fee).

Q6. Whether can applicants get refund of the application and service fee if they do not get the admission offer?

For the self-funded application, the application fee and service fee is not refundable if the application failed. And students will get another chance to apply to another university with the help of CUCAS.

For the university scholarship application, students will have two choices if the application failed. Get a 60% refund of the application and service fee, or re-apply to a different school’s scholarship without pay the application and service fee again.

For the government scholarship application, students will only have one choice if the application failed, which is to re-apply to a different school’s scholarship without pay the application and service fee again.

Q7. Why should I pay the application and service fee in advance?

Scholarship application takes time, effort and resource of both CUCAS and universities, and the process is irreversible. So in case of casual applications and attempts, CUCAS charge service fee in advance. There is no extra cost or hidden charge.
