- Beijing Chinese Language and Culture College (BLCC), founded in 1950, is subordinate to the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council of China (OCAO). Over the past 60 years, BLCC has built up a high reputation for its outstanding Chinese teaching and professional service all around the world.

Campus- Beijing Chinese Language and Culture College has two campuses both in Beijing. The main campus is in 69 Qibei Road, Changping District. The campus of BLCC is advanced, fully functional, modern and beautiful, and can accommodate up to 2000 students.

Facilities- The facilities in BLCC are advanced, well-equipped and comfortable for students to study and living here.
Study Atmosphere- BLCC is home to international students to study Mandarin. All students in BLCC come from foreign countries. You will find it much easier to communicate with each other, make friends, overcome homesick and learn Chinese together.
- Flexibly designed to improve students, Chinese level, the program provides three kinds of classes, namely, the introductory class, the intermediate-level class, and the advanced-level class, lasting from half a year to three years, to cater to the different needs of students with varying Chinese levels.

Core Courses: Basic Chinese, Spoken Chinese, Chinese Reading, Chinese Writing, Chinese Listening, etc.
Optional Courses: Chinese Vocabulary, Spoken Business Chinese, Chinese Recital, Selected Reading of Ancient Chinese Works, Learn Chinese from TV, Contemporary China, Traditional Chinese Realistic Painting, Calligraphy, Seal Cutting, Flute Playing, Martial Arts, Dance, Basketball, Table Tennis, Badminton, etc.
Class ScheduleThere are about 4-6 classes per day and 45 minutes per class. Classes start at 8:30 in the morning and end at 3:40 in the afternoon.
Study Tour
BLCC will arrange excursions in Beijing from time to time, such as visiting scenic spots and historical sites including the Imperial Palace, Great Wall, and Summer Palace etc. And students will have a study tour in China each semester to visit famous scenic spots in Mid-China, Eastern China, Central China or Northeastern China etc.
- Dormitory
- BLCC provides two types of dormitories for international students: the double room and the single room. Each room is equipped with air conditioner, broadband, private bathroom, cabinet etc. The first floor has a laundry room and 2/4/6/8 floors have a public kitchen respectively.

Activities
There are colorful activities in BLCC each semester including academic activities like Pinyin contest, vocabulary competition, speech contest, composition show and recreational and sports activities like a mid-autumn party, Christmas party, photography competition, Chinese karaoke, rope skipping, tug of war and table tennis, etc.

FoodIn the canteen of BLCC, all are buffet meals and the food is delicious and affordable. The breakfast only cost 5 yuan and 10 yuan for both lunch and dinner.
Vicinity- The bus station is right in front of the gate of BLCC, you have easy access to the subway station and major downtown area.

1. Why is it Chinese-taught?
All Chinese Language Programs are Chinese medium in order to let you get familiar with Chinese quicker. But don’t worry, teachers will use both Chinese and English to give lessons.
2. What’s the qualification of the lecturers?
BLCC has a team of professional teachers passionate about Chinese education and familiar with the characteristics of overseas students. There are 86 full-time teachers in the college, and 80% of them have 1 to 3 year’s experience of teaching Chinese abroad.
3. Is the university located in the downtown?
Although BLCC is not close to the city center, students here all feel good about the quiet environment and think it’s good for studying.
4.Can I get to the university ahead of time?
You are not suggested to come too earlier in fear of no available dormitory or airport pick-up service for you.
5. Is there any airport pick-up service?
BLCC will provide free pick-up service for new students. But please send your flight information to blccao@bjhwxy.com at least 10 days in advance and make sure you will arrive on time.
