Invited by General Administration of Sport of China, a sport science delegation from North Korea came to China for a visit during September 20th to 24th, 2016. The aim of the delegation is to communicate on the fields of sports scientific research, sports medicine and sports equipment research and one of their destinations is Beijing Sport University. On September 21st, the delegation headed by the dean of Academy of Sport Science of North Korea, Mr. Jon Chan Ju, came to visit our school. The president of BSU, Chi Jian, warmly welcomed the delegation and had a meeting with them.
During the meeting, Director Jin Xiaoping from Foreign Affairs Office of BSU gave a brief introduction of BSU to the delegation. And the delegation of North Korea hoped that there would be more exchange and operation with BSU in the future. After the meeting, the delegation visited the National Training Base and Sport Science Research Center in the campus. The deputy director of Foreign Affairs Office of BSU, Dong Mei, and Sun Xiao also attended the meeting.
