Basic Information

Any student who have required valid health report and visa is eligible to apply the scholarship in BLCC.

Scholarship Category & Sum:

TThe scholarship is divided into three levels by reducing students' tuition (the present tuition of BLCC is ¥9,600/semester) accordingly. Level one: exempt from tuition of one semester; Level two: exempt from 1/2 of one semester's tuition; Level three: exempt from 1/3 of one semester's tuition. The scholarship is available only for the first semester. Here is a chart to help you quickly understand different categories of scholarship:

Approval and Notification

a: A selection committee will evaluate applicants’ materials under the principle of “justice, fairness and openness”.
b: The scholarship will be terminated if a student has one of the following cases:
-Defaulting the fees he/she has to pay.
-Receiving academic warning or drop out warning.
-Breaking university rules or the Chinese laws.

-How Much Can This Scholarship Save for You?
As you have seen in the "Category & Sum" section, this scholarship saves you up to $1,600 one semester. You know, with the money you have saved, you can spend a luxury semester even in Beijing! iPhone 6 Plus or iPad is just a piece of cake. Does it make your mouth water? Haha...

-So What? How Much Do I Need to Pay?

You can see the amount of service fee for different program and level in the "Scholarship Type and Coverage" table above.

Students who get the scholarship successfully only need to pay $200 service fee no matter which Scholarship Level he/she gets. While you know, generally, some agencies would charge %20-%50 of the total scholarship as commission. You can do your math now.

-Can I Get Refund If I Didn't Get the Scholarship?
If you failed to get the scholarship, we refund you all you have paid(Application Fee + Service Fee. (For refund, you may contact zhanglulu@cucas.cn) Is it fair enough?

How to Apply

-Step 1: Choose the Chinese Language Programs for Scholarship that You Want to Apply.
-Step 2: Go to the page of the course.
-Step 3: Click the red "Apply Now" button. Here is what the button looks like:

-Step 4: Now do everything online as guided.
Note: A package of complete application documents must be submitted to CUCAS before the deadline (July 31.  Aug. 15th.).

3.Photocopy of valid passport.
(With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included)
4.Passport photo.
(A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant)
5.Highest degree academic transcript.
(Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.)
6.Highest degree certificate.
(Diploma in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.)
7.Health certificate.
(Photocopy of notarized foreigner physical examination record (for durations of study over 6 months). Or you can take physical examination after arriving at the university.)
8. Letter of recommendation.
From professor or associate professor or equivalents (You can download a template or sample here).
