With increasing number of students who came to study in China, many China universities is warmly welcome international students. But to some extent, the admission requirements is necessary owing to different condition. TOEFL or IELTS Score is Mainly for the non-English speaking countries' students
If you want to study in China, generally, for the students who come from non-English speaking countries, China universities will ask their TOEFL or IELTS score. What they did mainly is guarantee the students communication in China.
TOEFL or IELTS Score is Necessary for the English Medium Programs
If you study short-time courses in China, to some degree, it is possible to study in China if you do not have the degree certificate but you need to show your study level by an equivalent certificate. Owing to different requirements about different programs in different universities, you should contact with the teacher in your target university, ask him with detailed information about this part, which will solve your problems in this part. For example, if you study a summer training programs but you do not get your degree certificate before applying the university, you can contact with the teachers timely.
Other Special Requirements
If an international student who come from the English speaking countries, TOEFL or IELTS Score is not required. And if international students who apply for Chinese language program, the TOEFL or IELTS Score is also not necessary in some China universities.
