- Details about China’s Degrees
1. Associate Degree: students who have fulfilled the required courses in university but don’t complete their graduation thesis will be awarded an associated degree. The duration of this kind of degree courses is usually 2 years.
2. Bachelor's Degree: students who have fulfilled the required undergraduate courses in colleges or Chinese universities with qualified scores and graduation thesis will be awarded a bachelor’s degree. The study duration of this kind of degree is 4-6 years. (5 or 6 years for medical course plus one year internship)
3. Master’s Degree: students who have fulfilled the required postgraduate courses in postgraduate schools of Chinese universities with qualified scores and graduation thesis will be awarded a master’s degree. The study duration of this kind of degree is 2-3 years.
4. Doctoral Degree: students who have fulfilled the required PH.D courses in postgraduate schools of Chinese universities as well as research institutions will be awarded a doctoral degree. The duration of this kind of degree is 3-4 years.
