The main content was WSH related research and technology applications. The workshop attracted a number of domestic and abroad experts and scholars and several agencies, including Tsinghua University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Southeastern University, Oregon State University, Nelson Mandela University, Curtin University, National University of Singapore, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, The University of Hong Kong and so on.
The workshop aimed to provide a platform for WSH researchers and practitioners to present the most recent developments of systems thinking and WSH research. The sub-topics of the workshop were "Causal Modeling, Agent-Based or Other Simulation Models of WSH Scenarios", "Systems Thinking Approach to Accident Analysis", "Application of Soft System Modeling Techniques in WSH", "Qualitative Research on Systems Thinking in WSH", "Accident Case Studies Demonstrating Impact of Systems on Organizations, Groups and Individuals", "Safety Culture and Systems Thinking", "Cognitive Psychology of Systems Thinking and WSH Policy Analysis Using System Thinking Approach". Seventeen scholars presented their researches. Other domestic and foreign experts, scholars, PhD students also discussed about these topics.
