The 2019 “QUST Cup” Sports Meeting of Qingdao Colleges and Universities were held from May 22 to 24 at Qingdao University of Science and Technology. This sports meeting were sponsored by the Educational Work Committee of Qingdao Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, Qingdao Education Bureau and Qingdao University Sports Association.Leaders from the above organizations and other colleges and universities in Qingdao attended the opening and closing ceremonies.

Lasting three days, the sports meeting attracted 485 athletes from 23

colleges and universities of Qingdao, including Ocean University of China, Qingdao University, Shandong University of Science and Technology and Qingdao University of Technology.During the opening ceremony, the national flag escorting team taking the lead, entered the sports field, following the flower bouquet team, the colorful flags team, the referees team, the volunteers team and the representative teams of athletes from various colleges and universities. Performances were full of vigor and enthusiasm, showing the positive energy of the youth. At the same time, it also highlighted the QUST characteristics and demonstrated the achievements of physical education teaching in recent years.
