On the morning of November 27, 2015, a 3-member delegation led by Prof. Li Tianxing, vice president of Taiwan Fu Jen Catholic University，visited SWUN. Ding Keyi, Vice President of SWUN, met with the guests at the conference room of the Museum of Ethnic Cultures on Wuhou Campus, and Li Gengnian, Assistant President and Director of the Office of Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs，also attended the meeting.  

On behalf of the University, Vice President Li Gengnian welcomed the guests and made brief introductions to SWUN and the collaborations with universities in Taiwan. Li Tianxing, vice president of Fu Jen Catholic University, introduced the history of Taiwan Fu Jen Catholic University, its leading disciplines, and its student employment. Prof. Li Tianxing expressed his hope for promoting collaboration between SWUN and FJCU in cultivating ethnic minority students. At the meeting, the two sides discussed issues on collaboration in developing combined undergraduate-postgraduate programs, and thus laid a solid foundation for further collaboration between the two universities.

Fu Jen Catholic University is one of the three comprehensive universities in Taiwan. According to the THES-QS World University Rankings, it has, since 2006, been ranked 500th among universities worldwide, and 10th among universities in Taiwan. Its humanities and arts is ranked 2nd in Taiwan. Its College of Management was the first in Mainland China and Taiwan to be accredited by AACSB, and its pass rates of unified examinations of international resources and medical schools have invariably come first in Taiwan.
