On the afternoon of April 16^th, President of BUPT Qiao Jianyong met with the group led by the academician of Romania National Academy of Sciences Liviu Lucian ALBU.

Qiao Jianyong expressed his welcome to the visiting group led by Liviu Lucian ALBU on behalf of BUPT, and he introduced the history and “Double First-class” construction of BUPT. ALBU also expressed his gratitude to our warm reception and introduced some basic information and characteristics of disciplines of the visiting universities. During the meeting, both sides wished this visit to be an opportunity to open a new chapter of substantial cooperation under the framework of the “the Belt and Road” Initiative for BUPT and Romania first-class universities.

    ALBU was accompanied with the Vice President of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies Marius PROFIROIU, dean of Doctor Graduate School professor Mihai Dorel PARASCHIV, professor Crisan ALBU, Director of Finance of Economics and Management College of the West University of Timisoara professor Nicoleta MOLDOVAN, vice professor Oana LOBONT, etc. Leaders of BUPT's relevant departments and some colleges were present at the meeting.
