On June 18th, Vice President Prof. GUAN Zhongliang met with Dr. Jabbarali Zakeri, Chancellor of Iran University of Science and Technology.
Prof. GUAN Zhongliang extended sincere welcome to Dr. Jabbarali Zakeri. He reckoned that China has always regarded Iran as an important ally and partner. BJTU attaches great importance to the cooperation with universities and institutes from Iran. BJTU will further promote the pragmatic cooperation with Iran University of Science and Technology in the fields of talents cultivation, faculty exchange as well as joint research, etc.
Dr. Jabbarali Zakeri expressed gratitude for a warm reception of BJTU. He stated that Iran University of Science and Technology highly values the cooperation with Chinese universities. With the cooperation and support of BJTU, the related subjects of Iran University of Science and Technology have made great strides. He hopes that the two universities will continue to carry out deeper cooperation in the future.
An MOU was signed after the meeting.
