Uiversity of Jinan (UJN), April. 24, 2014: On April 18, a delegation from USA Community College of Denver(CCD) , which was led by President Dr. Everette J. Freeman and Ms. Jame Lim, the American President of the Confucius Institute of CCD, paid a visit to UJN.

President Cheng Held talks with CCD Delegation

UJN President Cheng Xin outlined to the guests the latest development of academic education at UJN as well as the university's international exchange. According to him , UJN now is the university supported by Shandong Provincial People's Government and Ministry of Education of China.Mr.Cheng said UJN has done a lot in international exchange and we will create more chances for foreign students to study chinese and deepen the cooperation with international universities in the future. He also mentioned the first UJN Confucius Institute built up in 2012 in the Republic of Congo is generally recongnized and welcomed by the government of Congo and Hanban. President Cheng expressed the willingness to jointly build and manage more UJN Confucius Institute overseas.

Students from School of Music and School of International Educaiton and Exchange held Chinese Art Show .

President Everette J. Freeman said CCD is the first community college to build Confucius Institute in the USA and very renowned for Chinese teaching. In the last, he expressed his desire to seek future collaboration with UJN.

After the meeting, President Everette J. Freeman enjoyed UJN Lu Embroidery Exhibition and  "ChineseTraditonal Art Show" performed by Students from UJN School of Music and School of International Education and Exchange.
