These four symposiums are to be sponsored and organized by four schools of SWUN respectively, namely, the School of Ethnic Studies, the School of Marxism Studies, the School of Architecture and Urban Planning and the School of Yi Studies. With the supervision and assistance of SWUN's Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, organizers of the four international symposiums will implement the program as stated and required in the official reply issued by SEAC, making adequate preparations and efficiently kicking off all related work for the symposiums.

At present, the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange is handling affairs in communication and coordination with related universities and institutes and making necessary preparations for the five delegations’ visits aboard.
The approval and implementation of the above-mentioned programs are expected to promote an in-depth cooperation between SWUN and educational institutions in countries covered by the initiative of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road. The programs are also intended to expand SWUN's international cultural exchange and educational cooperation, push forward its internationalization and lay a solid foundation for the implementation of the 13th five-year-plan. Hopefully, with the international exchange and cooperation, SWUN will be able to upgrade its academic and research levels and enhance its competitiveness in the international society.
