Statistical Theory and Related Fields (STARF), co-published by ECNU and Taylor & Francis, and the first English-language journal on statistics in China, was recently indexed by Scopus - the world’s biggest academic database.

The editorial committee of STRAF consists of well-known scholars from the Chinese Mainland and abroad, including three world renowned scholars as the Editor-in-Chief. The editorial office is set up in the Academic Journal Press of ECNU.
Officially launched in 2017, STRAF has published two volumes and four issues, with over 50 papers according to data released at the end of 2018.
These papers include important reviews made by international scholars, latest research results of young statisticians from China, reports on China’s domestic academic activities as well as interviews with notable statisticians.
Scopus is maintained by publisher Elsevier in which industry experts believe it holds more objective views and exact citation analysis when compared to SCI.
