Recently, at the invitation of Associate Professor Jin Chunyang, Professor HONMA Yasunori of Nagoya University visited the School of Law, where he delivered a series of three lectures and was granted the honorary title of XJTU guest professor. The first two lectures, delivered in room E910 of the Main Building on May 5, were entitled “Recent revisions in Japanese Civil Litigation Law” and “The Coordination of Japanese Civil Conflicts.” The third lecture, delivered in room E1004 of the Main Building on the afternoon of May 6, was entitled “The Core Principles of Civil Litigation Law”. Professor HONMA Yasunori discussed the procedural protections in Japanese litigation law and their constitutionization. Following the lecture, professor HONMA Yasunori conducted the question-answer section with the teachers and students in attendance.
