Date: April 17, 2019

On April 17, early in the morning, 20 students from Dancing Department of School of Music selected to participate in 2019 CCTV Flowers in May National Arts Festival for students in middle schools, high schools and colleges, were fully prepared and ready to go on the Flower Trip. Before their setting off, Zhang Shuoqiu, Deputy Secretary of the Party committee of University of Jinan, extended warm congratulations on behalf of our university to them and their teachers. Also, she spoke highly of their long-term hard-working spirit and the honors they had won for our university. At last, group photos of Deputy Secretary Zhang with the students and teachers was taken.

At noon of the same day, the students and teachers arrived in Beijing, then started their highly intense rehearsal right away. During the rehearsal from afternoon to late night, they could only rest for a little while eating. The students practiced their moves time after time with their earnest and humble attitude. Though already sweaty, they were keeping practicing, because they knew there were expectations and trust from UJN teachers and students on them. On April 22, the students walked into CCTV No.1 Broadcasting Hall. They followed directors orders, actively adjusted their emotions, and expertly finished every move in every program. On April 29, Hou Qihai, Secretary of the Party Committee of School of Music, with other staff, came to Beijing to visit and encourage the students and teachers. On May 2, the students successfully finished their recording and came back to Jinan.

During the 17 days in Beijing, the students made full use of this precious opportunity, practiced in their best status and showed the uplifting spirits and appearances of modern college students with their beautiful smiles and moves, winning another honor for our university.
