Shandong Provincial Environmental Protection Bureau (SPEPB) recently announced names of second batch units that have been approved as trial units of clean production consulting in Shandong Province . QUST Clean Production Consulting Center was one of the total 12. Clean production consulting center is a provincial strategy of standardizing and strengthening the verifying processes of clean production of enterprises, reducing pollutant discharge, guaranteeing verification quality, and providing clean production investigation services for enterprises. Trial centers should investigate key enterprises’ clean production work and offer them correct and effective technological support on clean production, so that the clean production in their regions could be further guaranteed.

QUST Clean Production Consulting Center is a special institute of QUST established in November of 2007 with the approval of Shandong Economic and Trade Committee. Backed by the College of Environmental and Safety Engineering, QUST Clean Production Consulting Center now has the right to investigate and approve clean production of Shandong enterprises who will voluntarily file an application. Under the guidance of provincial and Qingdao municipal environmental protection bureaus and economic and trade committees, QUST Clean Production Consulting Center will provide correct and effective consulting and investigating services for enterprises and devote itself to supporting clean production and environmental protection work in Shandong with high sense of responsibility and advanced technologies.
