On August 21, Prof. Qi Honglan of Shaanxi Normal University’s School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering was listed in the 2019 Shaanxi Young and Middle-aged Sci-tech Innovation Leading Talents, as Shaanxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology announced its List of 2019 Innovation Talents Advancement Plan.

Prof. Qi obtained her PhD degree from SNNU in 2005 and began to work at the university. Her research interest is electrochemistry and biosensor of luminous organism.

She has been the principal investigator of several national natural science fund projects, and published more than 70 papers on SCI journals including Journal of American Chemical Society and Analytical Chemistry. She has won multiple Shaanxi provincial awards for her research works, including the 12th Shaanxi Provincial Youth Sci-tech Award and the title of Shaanxi Young Sci-tech Model in 2018.
