University of Jinan, Mar. 2, 2014: The Romania Ambassador to China H.E.Dorus Romulus Costea and delegation visited University of Jinan (UJN) on February 27, 2014. UJN President Chengxin with Vice President Wang Bao xian received the delegation. Relevant personnel from the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Shandong Province and UJN International Affairs Office attended reception .
President Cheng Meeting with the Ambassador
UJN President Cheng first gave a welcome speech, where he introduced UJN briefly and talked about the cooperation with universities of Romania . On recalling cooperation history , President Cheng mentioned in 2011, UJN delegation paid a visit to universities in Romania. In 2012 UJN signed agreements with Ovidius University of Constantza in Romania, after which , two teachers from Romania came to UJN to study Chinese. In the end , President Cheng took this opportunity to state UJN's wish to carry out deeper cooperations with universities of Romania in different fields.

After it, H.E.Mr. Doru Romulus Costeal thanked Cheng for his meeting and reviewed the friendship and cooperation with China in politics,economy and culture. The Ambassador showed he will endeavour to promote the cooperation in higher education between China and Romania.
During the visiting , H.E.Mr. Doru Romulus Costeal toured UJN campus and communicated with UJN students who were impressed with the Ambassador's knowledge and good manners.
Background Information:
H.E.Mr. Doru Romulus Costea is invited to visit UJN by Shandong Provincial People's Government, which is a part of Shandong Council for the Promotion of International Trade series event. During the visiting to Shandong , the Romania Ambassador explors deeper cooperation with Shandong Province in different filelds.
