Zhu Zhengchang, the Secretary of the Party Committee of SDU, receives the donation from Ma Xiaodan on behalf of SDU.

On the afternoon of April 7th, the donation ceremony of ''Shandong Tianshi Co .Ltd'' was held in the Central Campus of SDU. Ma Xiaodan, the 96 period alumni of Sociology department, president of Shandong Tianshi Co., Ltd, donated 3 million Yuan to SDU for the construction of the main gate in Qingdao Campus.

Zhu Zhengchang, the Secretary of the Party Committee of SDU, received the donation and conferred a donation certificate of SDU to Ma Xiaodan. Vice-president Fan Liming and Ma Xiaodan signed the donation agreement together.

On the ceremony, Zhu Zhengchang highly praised for what Ma Xiaodan had done for alma mater. He said that the goal to build a first-class university in the world was of serious concerned and it provided more chances for university and enterprise to cooperate and develope together. He also expressed the best wishes for the development of Shandong Tianshi Co .Ltd.

Ma Xiaodan expressed that he had deep feelings with alma mater. No matter where he goes, alma mater guides him. He also said that he would lead his team to make more contribution to both alma mater and the society.

The ceremony was hosted by Jing Haiming, the vice director of Department of cooperation and development, SDU. Vice general manager of Shandong days stone curtain wall project Company Sun Shengxiao, Wang Hong'en, Xu Min, Wang Ximei, director of Strategy Planning and Financing Department Lu Yanhua, vice director of Department of Cooperation and Development Liu Xuexiang and related officials attended the ceremony. This is the first donation for the construction of Qingdao Campus that it shows excellent demonstration effect. This donation also opens a new chapter for alumni donation in 2011.
