International Criminal Court Chinese Moot 2019 (ICC Chinese Moot) was held from April 19 to 21 at Renmin University of China, Beijing. 45 teams from universities all across China, including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Fudan University, East China University of Political Science and Law and Shanghai International Studies University participated in the competition.

Five students, who were recruited from the junior and senior classes of the School of Law, represented SISU in the competition. Demonstrating their solid knowledge of law, outstanding debate skills and impeccable team spirits, the students won the second prize in the final competition. In terms of individual honors, Lu Yijie and Xu Yifan was listed as one of the “Top 10 Defense Lawyers” and the “Top 10 Prosecution Lawyers” respectively. Faculty members Du Kangping and Wang Liang provided guidance and support to the team.
