SMU Working Meeting of Student Affairs & Safety Held for New Semester

SMU News, Feb 28th On the afternoon of February 28th, SMU Working Meeting of Student Affairs and Safety for new semester was in the School Year 2017-2018 was held at the first-floor conference room of the South Administrative Building on Hangkonggang campus. Present at the meeting were President Zeng Ming, Vice-President En Jia, related teachers from the leading groups working on the university safety and stability as well as student affairs, and teachers of Centre for Mental Health Education.

At the meeting, related teachers from the office of leading groups working on the university safety and stability transmitted the spirit of superior documents, gave a report on the relevant circumstances, and made arrangements for the work to be done in 2018. The head of the Office of Student Affairs also made a plan for their work in the new semester. Besides, teachers of the Centre for Mental Health Education gave an account of their work.

En Jia requested that all units should endeavor to do better in the work of safety to ensure a harmonious and safe university with strong responsibility for the university, teachers and students and society.

Zeng Ming pointed out that student affairs and the security work are of great importance to the university for the two go hand in hand. SMU shall care about every student here. He also expressed his hope that everyone can work efficiently to make sure that students can grow up physically and academically, thus advancing SMU to a satisfactory high-level university with our characteristics.
