Mar. 4 marks the first day of this semester. On this day, Xu Jingyan, Secretary of UJN’s CPC Committee, and Zhang Shiqiang, UJN’s President, inspect the 1st classes on UJN’s Central Campus and Shungeng Campus. During the inspection, the school leaders listen to teachers in class and make detailed records; after class, they have an in-depth discussion with students and teachers. They speak highly of preparations for teaching activities, devotion made by teachers and students in class, teaching organization and effects. Besides, they also put forward some relevant suggestions on faculty improvement, teaching method reform and teaching model innovation.
To achieve greater progress in all areas, the University always takes teaching as its center, gives its first priority to educational quality, and focuses on class teaching reform, thus laying a solid foundation for training qualified personnel.
