Sino-French Program for Young Animated Film Workers Completed at CUC

An event titled “The Residency for Young Animated Film Workers” was held at Communication University of China(CUC) a couple of days ago. The event was organized by School of Animation and Digital Arts of CUC in collaboration with the French Embassy and the Belgian Embassy. As an important part of the “French Culture Month” the event was highly commended by the both embassies.

With youth creators from China, France and Belgium participation, the program is a truly a two-week international trial. Hong Fan, an associate professor of School of Animation and Digital Arts of CUC servers as their advisor.

The program ended on March 8th.And the one-minute animated short film jointly created by youth from three countries were screened on the occasion getting applause from the guests.

At the closing ceremony, Ms Pei Yalin, the head of the Language Office of the French embassy, extended her thanks to teachers and students of School of Animation and Digital Arts of CUC for their efforts. She expressed her excitement to announce that the one-minute animated short film would be screened at the opening ceremony of the “French Culture Month” event for more than one month. And, it also will be broadcasted for over 70 times as the opening film of more than 70 films to be showed in many cities.

The successful completion of the program shows a good start of international cooperation and exchange work in 2019 for CUC.
