According to these experts, it is of vital practical significance to construct and cultivate the Collaborative Innovation Center for Ecological Animal Husbandry in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Focusing on the Party's and state's strategic plan for developing the ecological shelter and animal husbandry in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and on the urgent demands of ethnic minority areas, the Center has yielded remarkable social and economic benefits by proceeding from reality to overcome many difficulties and building a team of pragmatic researchers who are willing to devote their life to the development of the Plateau and have made a number of achievements. The experts also provided good advice and suggestions on how to better construct and cultivate the center.
According to Tian Liangang, the Department of Education, Science, and Technology of SEAC will consistently subsidize the development of the Collaborative Innovation Center for Ecological Animal Husbandry in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Tian hopes that SWUN and other collaborative organizations will further enhance the innovative capability of the Center to make new breakthroughs and that the Center will be built into a successful model: ethnic institutions of higher learning serving the state's strategies, ethnic minority areas, and ethnic minority development.
