Recently, the BUCM Chinese Medicine Center in ST. Petersburg was official certified by the Traditional and Ethnical Medicine Committee--an organization under Russian State Duma, commemorating BUCM’s formal legal operation in Russia as a traditional medicine center to provide rehabilitation and health care services including acupuncture, Tuina massage, cupping, and Guasa. At the same time, two BUCM graduates obtained the official practice license of professional rehabilitation therapist issued by the committee, which marking the legal status of Chinese medicine doctors graduated from BUCM to practice Chinese medicine in Russia.

The establishment of the BUCM Chinese Medicine Center in ST. Petersburg is a result of negotiations beginning June 2013, between BUCM, ST. Petersburg Water Group and Pavlov State Medical University of ST. Petersburg. Since June 2013, BUCM kept negotiating with ST. Petersburg Water Group and Pavlov State Medical University of St. Petersburg, and reached the agreement to establish the BUCM Chinese Medicine Center in ST. Petersburg.
