On September 12th, the first conference of the "Confucianism Famous Scholars" sponsored by Nishan World Confucianism Center was held in Qianfoshan Campus of Shandong Normal University. Professor Wang Jie of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee was invited to give a special report entitled Contemporary Value of Confucian Culture. Shang Zhixiao, Secretary of the Party Committee of SDNU, and representatives of teachers and students from different schools attended the conference.
