Lino Mauro Toscanini Segale, rector of the Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil (UCSG) in Ecuador, visited the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) on May 31, leading a delegation of five. Jiang Qingzhe, party chief of the UIBE, met with the guests and welcomed them to the university.

Jiang introduced the guests to the history and faculty of the UIBE, the disciplines it offers and the internationalization of the university. Jiang said the UIBE aims to cultivate creative international talents with a global vision, who possess a strong grasp of international rules and leadership ability in global business and trade. Jiang also said he expects more cooperation between the UIBE and its partners in Ecuador.

Lino Mauro Toscanini Segale spoke highly of the UIBE's development. He then introduced the development of UCSG, its students and teachers, as well as the disciplines it offers. He also emphasized that the university has cultivated many outstanding alumni serving in various sectors of society, and hoped to have more cooperation between the UCSG  and the UIBE on student exchanges and regional studies.
