Mr. Wang Anzhong of the School of Journalism and Mass Communications of Shaanxi Normal University was listed in the “National 100 Talents in Broadcasting and TV Theory” at the 2013 Chinese Broadcasting and TV Annual Academic Meeting held on December 17, 2013 in Beijing.

Mr. Wang is commended for his media research which explores new ground of urban communication and establishes a evaluation system and application model for urban communication competitiveness. His research is viewed as a remarkable advance in expanding the broadcasting and TV studies, promoting media integration, and enhancing the integration of media with modern service industry.

He spoke at the meeting about China’s first Urban Intelligent Communication System developed by media, industrial organizations and software developers under his design and coordination, and suggested a Intelligent Communication Committee to be established in the Chinese Broadcasting and TV Association.

The “National Ten and 100 Talents” list is reviewed and released by the Chinese Broadcasting and TV Association every three years.
