Cooperation and Understanding Memorandum Signed Between SWUN and Australian National University

On October 31, 2014, President Zen Ming and Vice President Ding Keyi of SWUN met Professor and Vice President, Erik Lithander, and other four faculty members from Australian National University (ANU) in Meeting Room 904 in the Administration Building, northern part of SWUN Airport campus. On behalf of SWUN faculty members and students from 56 ethnic groups, Zen Ming extended a warm welcome to guests from ANU and gave a brief introduction to SWUN. Erik Lithander also made a brief introduction to ANU and took a positive attitude toward the ongoing cooperation between the two universities.  

After the meeting, the two parties signed the Cooperation and Understanding Memorandum Between Southwest University for Nationalities and Australian National University. This has laid a solid foundation for further comprehensive cooperation between the two universities.  

News link: Australian National University was founded in 1946 by the Australian federal government. It is the only research university established according to the Bill by Federal Parliament. For many times, ANU has ranked first in Australia and among the top 50 in global universities in a variety of university rankings.
