Liaoning province located in the northeast of China, the staple industry here was used to be the heavy industry, but now Liaoning province pays more attention to attract high technic talents so that many of the excellent oversea students come here to complete their study and researches.

In order to promote the development of Education business in Liaoning Province, expand the scale, increase the level, and encourage many more Foreign Students to come to Liaoning, with the ratification of the Liaoning government, the Liaoning Government Scholarship has been established. (In the following passage we abbreviate it the scholarship). The scholarship is mainly used for subscribing to the expenses for excellent foreign students, and academics, who study Master’s Degree and Doctor’s Degree.

Scholarship Category and Application Conditions.

1. Scholarship Category

“Liaoning Government Scholarship, Foreign Student” is a type of full scholarship. The student should be a doctor and master student, the study for 3 years, and the scholarship will be covering over 3 years. The content of the scholarship includes registration fees, tuition fees, experimental fees, internship fees, textbooks, and reference fees, accommodation fees, complimentary insurance fees, living expenses, and tutor subsidy, etc. The traveling fee will be afforded by student selves. The living expense will be allocated each month, the standard is 2000 RMB/Person/Month.

2. Application Condition

1). The applicants should be Non-Chinese citizen with a physically healthy body;

2). The applicants should obey the Chinese laws, and the Universities regulations;

3). The applicants should acquire a master’s degree, and the age is not allowed over 40.

4). The applicants must not hold the other types of scholarships of Chinese Government Scholarships.

Application Materials

The applicants must truthfully fill in and submit the following materials. (The application materials shall be in paper version in triplicate).

1. ”The Application Form of Liaoning provincial Government Scholarship for Foreign Students”(Printed by the Education Ministry of Liaoning Province).

2. Notarized highest diploma. If the applicant is a student in school or employed, in addition, it is required to submit the certificate of study in progress issued by the schools or the certificate of employment issued by the employment unit; in non-Chinese and English versions, it is required to attach the notarized Chinese or English translation.

3. Transcript. Applicants are required to provide the original or notarized transcripts of all courses of master’s degrees. Notarized Chinese or English translation shall be attached to non-Chinese and English transcripts.

4. HSK certificate. If the applicants accept the Chinese teaching, grade 8 or above shall be provided.

5. “Foreign People Physics Healthy Examination Record” and Blood Examination Report copy. (The photocopy should affix with photos, the original should conserve by applicants selves, printed by the Health and Quarantine Department of China).

6. The Study and research program in China. The Chinese teaching student should submit 1500 words or above personal statement, the English teaching students should submit 2000 words or above personal statement.

7. Two recommend letters issued by a professor. The applicants should submit two recommendation letters from your graduated school professor by Chinese or English.

8. If the published papers, awarded certificates or any other profiles can prove your study achievements and research capacity, please provide the caption, abstract, publications, and evidence documents.

The above application materials will submit to the Education Ministry of Liaoning Province after the university accept these materials. The Education Ministry of Liaoning Province doesn’t accept the personal application. The application materials will not be returned, whether accept or not.

The Proceedings of Acceptance

1. Applicants submit application materials to the University.

2. After the appraisal of all the application materials, the university will submit the materials to the Education Ministry of Liaoning Province.

3. The Education Ministry of Liaoning Province will audit and pass the scholarship applications.

4. The notification should be published on the University’s official website, and the scholarships shall be distributed.
