On June 5, Professor Bai Yi, Vice Director of Research Center for Learning Science at Southeast University, Zheng Wenming, Laboratory Chief of Research Center for Learning Science, as well as Professor Wang Hai Xian and Professor Deng Huihua, visited ZJUT for academic exchanges.

During the visit, they delivered academic reports respectively, including The Application of Technical Education in the Assessment of Scientific Literacy, Assessment of Children's Social Emotion Competency via Social Signal Processing,   Liner Discriminatory Analysis based on L-1 Norm, and Hair Cortisol and Chronic Stress. From perspectives of emotion recognition by computers, integration of the virtual and the real, assessment of neurotransmitters, and network analysis of electrocerebral activity, they expounded on new technologies and methods for evaluating the learning behaviors and learning effects of humans. 

Teachers and students, mainly from the Department of Information Technology and the Department of Applied Psychology of the School of Education Science, joined this activity. And they conducted academic exchanges and discussions with focus on “Interdisciplinary Research on Neural Information Engineering and Learning Sciences”
