In order to respond positively to the call of the nationwide voluntary tree planting activities, firmly establish and practice the concept of “Green Water Mountain is Jinshan Yinshan”, on April 12th, Beijing Normal University organized more than 150 faculty and staff to go to Miyun to carry out voluntary tree planting activities.

        The faculty and staff who participated in the activities helped raise seedlings, earth up and carry bucket watering the seedlings. They totally planted more than 50 kinds of pine nuts. The faculty and staff have said that the voluntary tree planting activities have mobilized everyone's enthusiasm for participating in afforestation and transformation of the ecological environment, and enhanced the awareness of protecting the environment, loving green plants and protecting the green, and enhancing the sense of responsibility and mission of afforestation. Beijing Normal University has attached great importance to the task of planting trees for a long time. It has organized faculty and staff to participate in the spring voluntary tree planting for 39 consecutive years, and won the honorary title of “2018 Capital Advanced Public Tree Planting Unit”.
