From August 17th to 25th, the 2018 Asian General Asian Cup China University Football Selection Competition was held in Jinjiang, Fujian. Twelve football teams from major universities across the country gathered in Jinjiang to compete fiercely. It is reported that the Asian College Sports Federation (AUSF) Asian Cup is held every two years as a qualifier for the World College Sports Federation World Cup Asia. In 2018, Asian College Sports Federation (AUSF) Asian Cup Chinese University Football Selection Competition was hosted by the China University Sports Association and hosted by the Jinjiang Municipal People's Government. It is one of the pre-selected areas for the AUSF Asian Cup Football Championship.
