On May 28th, a delegation led by Prof. Udomphon Puetpaiboon, Vice President of Prince of Songkla University visited Shanghai University. Prof. Gong Siyi, SHU Vice President met with the guests at Baoshan Campus, accompanied by Prof. Liu Yi, Deputy Director of the SHU Global International Office and Prof. Wang Lina, Deputy Dean of the College of International Education. Both sides exchanged their views on the topics related to joint training of postgraduates in majors like MBA, International Business and etc.

Located in the southern part of Thailand, Prince of Songkla University is a comprehensive university integrated with high-level teaching and academic research. In 2006, Shanghai University and Prince of Songkla University jointly established the Confucius Institute at Phuket. In 2009, the Confucius Institute at Phuket, collaborating with Trang Campus and Surat Thani Campus of Prince of Songkla University, established branches of Confucius Institute at these campuses. Every year more than 10 students are sent from Trang Campus to learn Business English at SHU-UTS SILC Business School.
