14th November – the delegation of Boeing (China) investment co., LTD, which is led by Wu Dongyang, vice CEO of research and technology, visited DUT to investigate some R&D cooperation projects with DUT on the morning of 14th November. Guo Dongming, president of DUT entertained them in room 312 in the main building, accompanied by the international cooperation and exchanges office, and chargers of the faculty of infrastructure engineering.
Guo warmly welcomed the delegation and briefly introduced the relevant disciplinary such as chemistry, materials, machine manufacturing, hoping to have more chances to cooperate with Boeing.
Wu thanked DUT’s technical support for Boeing and also introduced their R&D key points. The research and technical department has been engaged in developing new techniques in order to provide a safe efficient passenger experience. It is hopeful to cooperate with DUT in aviation industry.
Boeing is one of the leaders of aviation industry, and also the biggest aircraft manufacturer for both civil use and military use.
