Deputy Minister of Health of Argentina Dr. Daniel Alejandro Yedlin visited Beijing University of Chinese Medicine on March 27, 2015, accompanied by the formal Chinese Ambassador to Argentina Mr. Zeng Gang and Mr. Li wenzhong—Chairman of Lifeng Pharmaceutical Enterprise co., ltd in Argentina and alumnus of BUCM.

Vice president of BUCM Professor Gu Xiaohong met with the Deputy Minister and introduced the recent achievements of BUCM in Chinese Medicine education, medical service and research. The visit from the Deputy Minister of Health served to bridge communications with BUCM and lay foundations for Chinese Medicine in Argentina. Both Professor Gu and Dr. Yedlin expressed their anticipation for the future cooperation between BUCM and Argentinian medical universities.  Dr. Yedlin was pleased with the immense advancements in Chinese Medicine made by BUCM in recent years and encouraged BUCM to cooperate with Argentinian universities in Chinese Medicine education and scientific research.

At the suggestion of Professor Gu, Dr. Yedlin visited the International Clinic of Dongzhimen Hospital.
