Sponsored by the Shanghai University of Foreign Students Education Research Association, the 7th International Student Dragon Boat Race was held by East China University of Science and Technology between universities in Shanghai on 7th June 2014. SFU sent 20 international students from Asia, Europe and Africa representatives to participate in the game.

The traditional Dragon Boat Race attracted 26 universities in Shanghai with over 500 international students. Although it was a broiling hot day, participants was unaffected by the unpleasant weather and the race was competitive. At the end of the race, SFU international students commented on how dragon boat activities enrich their school life and promote the understanding of Chinese traditional culture.
