The Dragon Boat Games for SHNU teachers were held at Tonghai Lake of Fengxian Campus, East China University of Science and Technology on May 25th. This traditional biannual event of SHNU has started since 2009.
The SHNU authorities rowed a dragon boat to start the games which were also greeted with thunderous drum beats and rounds of applause and cheers from the audiences. The games involved 26 teams and one international team made up of foreign teachers and overseas students.
The preliminary rounds were followed by a final attended by 12 teams. After two fierce competitions, the team from No. 4 Middle School Attached to SHNU won the champion. The top 8 teams received awards and trophies from SHNU leaders.
