Shaanxi Normal University swimming team won the seventh place in men’s team total score, the best among all Shaanxi province teams, in the 13th National University Students Swimming Tournament held in Qingdao, Shandong province during Nov 20 to 24, 2013.

Nearly 800 swimmers and coaches from 61 universities, including Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Southeast University, Tongji University, Hongkong University, Hongkong Institute of Education and Shanxi University, took part in the event.

SNNU’s team, led by Kang Xilai and coached by Li Zhi, competed in the most professional Section B of the tournament. They are five young men, Sun Jiahao, Yang Haozhe, An Long, Wang Xudong and Li Yutao, and two young women Tian Yafan, Wang Mingyue.

Though there are only five male swimmers, they won the seventh place in men’s team total score, the best among all Shaanxi province teams. Yang Haozhe and Sun Jiahao were also recognized for their sportsmanship.
