Two SNNU Professors Granted 2013 National Social Science Fund

Shaanxi Normal University professors Zhang Xinke and Zhao Xueqing were granted 2013 National Social Science Fund in its second batch of Major Tender Projects, according to the tender results released on Nov 15, 2013.

 

 

The professors are both from the School of Chinese Language and Literature of the university and their projects submitted for tender are the “Collation and Research of Chinese and Overseas Literary Studies on ‘Shi Ji (Historical Records)’” by Prof. Zhang and the “Linguistic and Cultural Studies of the Opera and Ballard in Northwestern China” by Prof. Zhao.

The Major Tender Projects are the most prestigious category with the highest amount of research fund of an average of 600,000 to 800,000 yuan in the Social Science Fund, including application strategy research, major fundamental theory research and interdisciplinary research.

Including these two projects, nine SNNU projects have been granted funds from the Major Tender Projects since 2010.
