On December 7th and 8th, 2013, more than 10,000 students – graduates of 2014 and previous years of Shaanxi Normal University and other universities – attended the winter campus job fair for 2014 graduates held in SNNU’s Chang’an campus to meet recruiters from 412 employers.

SNNU will have 7,373 students graduating in 2014, the most numerous in its history. As there will also be a record-high 7.27 million graduates next year, these students will face a tough job market.

In order to help the graduates find good jobs, the Graduate Employment Guidance and Service Center, with the assistance of other departments of the university, made thorough preparation and invited 412 employers from Shaanxi and other provinces to the fair. The employers offered a record-high 9,856 jobs, covering most major of the 2014 graduates. Popular among the graduates are Tianjin Yaohua Middle School, Xi’an Middle School, Middle School Affiliated to Xi’an Jiaotong University, the Third Engineering Company of China Gezhouba Dam Group, Shaanxi Automobile Co., Ltd., Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group, Cuori Electrical Appliances (Group) Co., Ltd., Changshu Municipal Bureau of Radio and Television, etc.
