Ranked the 1st of science and engineering university in China, located on the site of "Qing Hua Yuan" in Haidian District, Beijing, Tsinghua University was founded in 1911, formerly known as a royal garden of Qing Dynasty. The campus is famous for its beautiful surroundings embraced by shady trees and time-honored architectural complexes with different features and styles, in which "Shui Mu Qing Hua" has a long history of reputation. It is listed as one of the 14 world's most beautiful college campuses by Forbes Magazine in 2010, the only one from Asia.
The university holds the largest numbers of academicians affiliated with the Chinese Academy of Science and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, of the top disciplines on the whole, of the Key National Laboratories, of national awards in science and technology, of research funds, and also of articles indexed in SCI, EI and ISTP over the years. More than 70% of the top 10 students of sciences and 30% of the top 10 students of liberal arts from the provinces in the National College Entrance Examination in China have chosen Tsinghua University for their undergraduate study.
Tsinghua University Library comprises main library, seven subject branch libraries and more than ten school or department reading rooms.
In the past few years the library has expanded its collection very fast, especially in the e-resources. By the end of 2013, the total physical collections have been over 4.63 million item/volumes, the full-text e-journals in Chinese and foreign languages totals over 67,000, and the e-books increases to more than 7.99 million.

Various sports facilities are provided on campus, which include: the West Lake outdoor swimming pool, the Natatorium (swimming and diving), the Comprehensive Gymnasium (badminton, table tennis, basketball, and gymnastics), the West Gymnasium (badminton, basketball, volleyball, and billiards), the West Sports Field, the East Sports Field, Zijing Sports Complex (basketball, tennis, volleyball, and soccer), and Inflatable Dome (badminton and table tennis).

The Master of Engineering in International Construction Project Management (ICPM) program aims to broaden and deepen students' knowledge of contemporary issues in the leadership, strategic management, and delivery of international projects to provide value to stakeholders and society as a whole.
The unique characteristic of this program is to expose students to a new way of thinking, and to create awareness of how Chinese organizations operate, manage, and delivery projects in the fast-changing world.
The program is practice-oriented. Students will be taught to think creatively, to be innovative with new ideas, and to use tools and techniques for effective management of projects. Students will be taught about problem solving, leadership, and the exploitation of technology.

Zijing International Student Apartments provide three types of dormitory rooms, with a capacity of accommodating around 2000 international students.

Tsinghua student dining halls are famous for their good service and reasonable price among the universities in Beijing. In addition, there are several fast food restaurants and Cafe on campus, where you may meet many international students.
